Schizogora is a bastardization of Ancient Greek roots, another superfluous neologism. Schizo signifying to split, and with some poetic license, to shatter. Agora referring to the marketplace or, in a broader sense, a public-sphere.

The purpose of the blog is to chronicle daily encounters with the products of a post-capitalist or consumerist market. There is no sweeping assertion, nor is there any real point. It is to simply unveil or lay bare the product, split from its daily context of use, allowing itself to be available for thought, analysis and humor. Some lead to pontification, others speak for themselves and render silence.
